Brad Barfield

Mr. Barfield is a proud Alumni of the A. W. Dreyfoos Theatre Department, graduating in 1999. After graduating from DSOA, He went on to further his actor training at the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, NC. He Received his BA in Theatre from FAU for Acting in 2003. Since graduating high school, Mr. Barfield has been a dedicated member of the InterACT! Theatre Camp staff where he remained on staff for 18 summers. Mr. Barfield has taught at BAK Middle School of the Arts, Palm Beach Lakes High School, Dreyfoos School of the Arts, and Jupiter High School.

Mr. Barfield has been recognized with awards for both his acting and directing. Some of his favorite performance roles include Duke Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Robbie in Splitting Infinity, Peter in At Home at the Zoo, Capulet/ Montague in Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival’s Romeo and Juliet

Some of his favorite productions as a director include Once on this Island, The Diary of Anne Frank, Romeo and Juliet (which received State recognition and was performed in front of 3500 thespians), and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time in spring of 2019.
